We reward children for remembering our Values (Aspire - Believe - Community - Explore - Enjoy - Respect) and upholding these in their behaviour. Each week we have a Value that we focus on, for example good manners, and saying "Good Morning, how are you?"
We hold a Celebration Assembly each week, and are pleased to award certificates to children who have shown an excellent example of our school values. We also award children who are our Star Readers of the week, our Number Bond mathematicians, and a certificate to the classes with the best attendance.
Dear Cuxton School,
I am writing to say thank you so much for the brilliant presentation that Miss Taylor did yesterday for parents, regarding keeping children safe online.
As a parent of three I have found that my knowledge is lacking in this area and, have been worrying for some time about how I could learn more on this subject, to ensure the safety of my children online.
Miss Taylor was very knowledgeable and gave us tips on how we could monitor our children's online history and how we could change settings to make it safer when our children surfed the web. She managed to do this in a non-judgemental way and didn't make us feel bad for perhaps not knowing as much as we should!!!
She made an excellent power -point, which we could take away with us, which could point us in the right direction in the future etc.
Thank you Miss Taylor and Cuxton School for such an excellent, helpful workshop.
