We are 29 happy chestnuts that are working hard towards our targets alongside our class teacher Mrs Strezoiu and our Teaching Assistant Mrs Curtis and with a bit of help from Miss Hussein, our student teacher.
We are ready for the challenges that Year 5 presents us and by working together we are confident that we will be winners!
Our targets for Term 2 are:
Reading - I can distinguish between fact and opinion.
Personal development - To learn about positive and negative effects on physical, mental and emotional health (including the media).
History - I use documents, the Internet, databases, pictures, photographs, music, artefacts, historic buildings, visits to museums and galleries and visit sites to collect evidence about the past.
Join us for our Year 5 Rochester Cathedral Carol Concert on 5th December 2019!
We are sure that you and your family would thoroughly enjoy coming to see your child perform and supporting them in this way.
Due to limited seating, the cathedral have limited tickets to one per child. This can be purchased through the SIMS Agora system.
Ticket cost is £4. There is also a ‘reservation list’ in the main office so that, if additional tickets become available nearer the time, we can make them available to you. We will notify you if this is the case.
Any adult with a ticket can gain entry to the cathedral from 1:30pm, ready for a 2:00pm start. The carols will end at 3:00pm.
Any children not collected will return to school with the supervising adults and should be collected from the main office at 4:30pm.
Due to the limited amount of tickets, please send the reply slip back by 27th November 2019.
Children should wear school uniform, we advise that they wear warm clothes underneath as it can be cold inside the cathedral, and bring something to entertain them (e.g. a reading book, not an electronic device) for the period between rehearsals and the performance.
