Good morning, Magnolia Class!

It’s been a busy week but you’ve all done so well. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

Joe Wicks:

What does a recipe do?

Look at a number of recipes to revise the conventions that need to be included. You will find these in the documents below.

Think about when you made your chocolate bar:

What did you need in terms of equipment?

What ingredients did you use?

If I were to make your snack, how would I know what to do? What steps would I need to take? In what order?

Write the recipe for the snack that you made on Wednesday (or a snack that you know well)..

Remember to include:

Time adverbials;

Imperative verb;

Numbered steps – new line for each;

List of ingredients;

List of equipment.

Give yourself a 20 minute break.

Today is the Friday Maths Challenge.

Open up the task sheet and have a go at answering the questions.

You can either print it out and write your answers on the sheet, or you can open it up and type your answers in the answer boxes.

If any of the questions are too tricky, you can skip them or come back to them later.

It’s lunch time so have an hour to give yourself a break.

Have a go at drawing this teddy bear, step by step:

If you finish, try this one:
