Good morning, Cherry Class!

Another week done. This term is really flying by! Well done for doing such fantastic work! Keep it up!

PE

Spelling

Have a go at writing your ten spelling words and see how many you get right.

English

Listen to chapters 18 to 21 of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

As you listen, focus on how Charlie and Verruca are described and behave. How are they similar? How are they different?

Once you’ve finished listening, open up the sheet:

This is a Venn diagram. Once oval is for Charlie, the other is for Verruca and the middle is for both.

Write or type adjectives to describe Charlie in his oval, adjectives to describe Verruca in her oval and adjectives that describe both in the middle.

Here’s an example for Grandpa Joe and Willy Wonka:

Watch the video and have a go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eQGJJN2ufM

If you finish, you could add some lines from the Oompa Loompa song.
