Well done on your work yesterday. Today you are going to be building up your story a little more by thinking about how you can describe you setting and how to write an effective opening sentence that entices and draws your reader in.

First, go through the power-point on settings. These are just pictures that should give you an idea of what you can write about. Then go onto the PDF, which enables you to write your chosen setting, again there is lots of vocabulary to help you.

Last of all today, go through the power-point on how to give an effective opening to your story.

Something Else:

We have learnt lots this year in all different subjects.  You’re challenge is to see if you can complete the alphabet with a different thing that we have learnt for each letter. You might need to get a little creative with some of the letters....!
