Good morning, Magnolia Class!
I hope you’re all keeping well. What lovely weather we’re having!

Today, you’re looking at pronouns. Head to this website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zwwp8mn/articles/z37xrwx
Watch the video, then have a go at the two games below.
Today you need to read a recipe of your choice. If you can and have the ingredients at home and with help from an adult, follow the recipes to create something delicious. (Feel free to choose a different recipe using any ingredients that you have at home).
When you have created your delicacy; write an evaluation for it.
To remind you – an evaluation should discuss the characteristics of the food using the 5 senses. (See, tastes, texture, smell, consistency)
This should be written as a paragraph
Finally, draw a picture of your creation to go with your evaluation.
Give yourself 20 minutes to take a break.
Today, we’re carrying on with fractions. We’ll carry on looking at equivalent fractions.
Click the link: https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/
Click Summer Term - Week 1 (w/c 20 April)
Then look for Lesson 2 – Equivalent Fractions (3).
Watch the video.
Next, open up the task sheet and have a go at answering the questions.
You can either print it out and write your answers on the sheet, or you can open it up and type your answers in the answer boxes.
If any of the questions are too tricky, you can skip them or come back to them later.
It’s lunch time so take an hour to have some lunch and have a break.
Read a text of your choice for 20 minutes. It can be a book, newspaper, magazine…anything you like!
Today, we’re looking at plants and their features.
Take a look at this website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zy66fg8/articles/zcjnp39
Watch the video, then have a go at Label The Plant game.
Once you’ve done that, open the task and add the labels to the picture.
Log in to Espresso, then watch this video: https://central.espresso.co.uk/espresso/primary_uk/subject/module/video/item1168027/grade2/module1164873/index.html
Well done today, Magnolia Class. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve done.
See you all back here tomorrow!
