Good morning, Cherry Class!
I’m really impressed by the learning that’s been going on. Some of it has been really tough but you’ve been doing so well. Nice work!

Colour the words based on the word class (or word type).
There’s a word class help sheet to help you spot what word class each word could be.
Today’s lesson give you an opportunity to get creative!
You might want to create a mould for your chocolate bar to go into. This could be made from tin foil. Try to keep it a similar size to an average bar.
Melt some chocolate, pour it into your mould, then add your own ingredients to make your own chocolate bars. Try to stick to your design as best you can.
Get an adult to help you.
Once you have added all of your ingredients and you are happy, put your mould into the fridge so that it sets.
If you don't have any chocolate, don't worry! See what you and your adult can find in the kitchen and make your own savoury or sweet treat. It can be as ordinary or unusual as you like! (Make sure you have an adult's permission, though!)
Try to resist eating it until tomorrow!!
Photographs of your experience would be fantastic!
Give yourself a 20 minute break.
Today, we’re looking at problem solving.
I’ll be honest – these are really challenging! Don’t feel that you have to do all of them.
I’ve given you some hints in case you need them.

Summer Term – Week 2 (w/c 27 April)
Lesson 3 – Problem Solving
Watch the video.
Next, open up the task sheet and have a go at answering the questions.
You can either print it out and write your answers on the sheet, or you can open it up and type your answers in the answer boxes.
If any of the questions are too tricky, you can skip them or come back to them later.
It’s lunch time so take an hour to have some lunch and have a break.
Today, we’re looking at melody and pitch. Have a look at this website:
Have a read through and watch the video about melody and pitch.
After that, read the next part of the text and play the High and Low game
Then, choose an activity to have a go at. You can do more than one if you want to.
If you’re feeling brave, you could even record yourself singing!
