Ask an adult to call out the phase 5 sounds we have learnt (ay, ou, ie, ea, oy, ir and ue) and some of the phase 3 sounds we know. See how quickly you can write them down – use a sound mat if you are finding it tricky. Today we are going to learn the alternative grapheme ‘ue’. We already know ‘oo’.
