HOMEWORK

Timestables Rock Stars

The Academy of Cuxton Schools uses TTRS to help children build their times table knowledge across the school.

Year 4 children now to complete their online TT test so TTRS is a great way to help children build their skills using their computing skills.

Year 3, 4, and 5 are expected to complete Maths Homework on TTRS every week. All children must use the website 3 times a week for 15 mins a time.

Year 2 and 6 complete CGP books relating to SATS preparation.

Numbots

We also use Numbots in EYFS and KS1 to help children build their knowledge of number bonds.

Children in Year 1 are expected to complete Maths homework on Numbots every week. All children must use the website 3 times a week for 15 mins a time.

Year 2 are encouraged to use it, but it is not compulsory.

Every term we hold a TTRS and Numbots celebration assembly where we reward the class with the most usage, the children scoring 25/25 on soundcheck and the KS1 children collecting robot parts on Numbots.
