Today we are going to learn about growth and fixed mindsets. Watch this clip - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9FunBolqvA
At the beginning of the clip, the baby giraffe did not know how to walk, and it kept falling. Did the baby giraffe give up? It kept trying and can now walk. This is what is known as a growth mindset – when you never give up and you keep trying.
Go through ‘The Power of Yet’ PowerPoint and think about something you cannot do YET. Draw/write three things you can do now and 1 thing that you cannot do YET but with practise, you will be able to do it.
