Today’ you are going to look at a range of picture, which contain the ‘g’ alternative pronunciations. Close your eyes and randomly choose 3 pictures and write a silly sentence! For example, I chose gate, allergic and hedgehog. My silly sentence is – One day, there was a giant, green gate which was allergic to a tiny, spikey hedgehog.
Write at least 3 silly sentences. Challenge yourself to write more. Try and choose more than 3 words.

I would like you to have a go at writing ‘th’. Have a go at writing it in a range of different ways. You could use shaving foam, pasta, chalk, paint, whiteboard, Lego etc. How many different ways can you write ‘th’?
Look at the worksheet. Have a go at reading the story. Can you find all of the ‘th’ words?
