Year 3


Here you will find who has won a certificate for the week. As a reminder, we select 1 child who has been in school  and 3 children who have been working from home to recognise for fantastic work or for showing one of our values. Certificates are shared in the celebration assembly.


Term 4:

Week 1 - Sienna, Edie, Katie B, Hannah G  

Tidiest area - Mrs Chapman and Mrs Martinaeu for helping clear out and organise Mr Benjafield’s room (stock room). 

Most improved homelearning engagement = YEAR 3.  

Also we would like to say a HUGE well done and thank you to our Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for being recognised and winning the Headteacher award for supporting children in school. 👍

Welcome to Year 3. We are an excited group of children who are always taking on new challenges and being the best we can be!

Mrs Mulholland and Mrs Balestrini (Fridays) in Cherry class .

Miss Giocondi in and Mrs Balestrini (Thursdays)Magnolia class .

Mrs Curtis is our teaching assistant across Year 3.

Things to Remember:

Reading records should be in every day. Children should be reading 5 times per week, 3 times with an adult and twice independently this MUST be recorded.


Spellings are given out on a Monday. The children will be tested on a Friday.


Cherry Class Forest School- every Wednesday afternoon (from WB 8th. March)
Cherry class will have their forest school session in the afternoon. Please can your child come to school dressed in suitable forest school clothes and bring their school uniform to school to change into if they are too wet/muddy afterwards. 


PE is on Wednesday afternoon for Magnolia and a Thursday afternoon for Cherry. Children are expected to have full PE kit. Earrings should be removed. PE kits to be taken home at the end of the week to be washed.
