Welcome to Cherry Class. We are an excited class of 29 children who are always taking on new challenges and being the best we can be!
Our class teachers are Mrs Strezoiu and Mrs Balestrini. Mrs Curtis is our teaching assistant across Year 3.

Things to Remember:
Reading records should be in every day to be checked. Children should be reading 5 times per week, 3 times with an adult and twice independently this MUST be recorded.
Spellings are given out on a Monday. The children will be tested on a Friday.
Forest school is also on a Friday. We have the first session. Please could children come to school dressed in their Forest School clothes and bring their uniform in a bag to change into.
PE is on Friday. We have the second session. Children are expected to have full PE kit. Earrings should be removed.
PE kits to be taken home at the end of the week to be washed.
Term 1 Targets
Develop positive attitudes to reading, and an understanding of what they read, by reading books that are structured in different ways and reading for a wide range of purposes.
Follow simple rules to reduce the spread of bacteria and illnesses.
Explain how water is absorbed by a plant.
