I’d like you to begin by recapping your phase 3 sounds. Use Flashcards Speed Trials (phonicsplay.co.uk) or go through your sound mat and tick off all the sounds you get correct.

 

This week we are going to have a revision week. So we are going to look at CVCC words and CCVC words, we are also going to look at some dictation and tricky words.

Look at the worksheet – there are a range of pictures. Your job today is to identify the pictures and colour in all of the pictures with the ch sound. Can you challenge yourself by writing the ch words that you found?

Today I would like you to go outside and practise writing them any way you can.  Try using a stick in some mud, chalk, or a wet paintbrush.  Be as creative as you can.
