We are off to the land of plenty, the home of skyscrapers, the razzmatazz of Hollywood and everything which makes America perhaps the most dynamic nation on Earth.

Our topic text  centres around the absorbing tale of two Irish children who leave a famine and plague ridden life back home in order to find their father. The novel 'Twist Of Gold' possesses all the magic and drama you would expect from the pen of the award winning Michael Morpurgo.

In maths we are finding out about decimals and money.  For our science we turn our attention to 'Sound' as we investigate vibrations, pitch and volume. Our geography work sees us investigate the incredible natural wonders of America.
