Hello Year 4. We hope this week finds you all safe and well!

 

Remember, in the first week we provided you with a timetable if it helps you to plan your day. You do not need to follow it if you choose not to, but it is similar timings to what we use in school. Once again, we also know that children work at different paces, so only complete what you are able to. Please make sure you check to see if there are any videos available each day. The maths, English, reading and topic work have been placed in daily folders this week, however the handwriting and spelling will remain as they have been due to the document style. 

 

Each day we have provided you with:

English (40-60 minutes)  

Maths (40-60 minutes)

Handwriting (15 minutes)

Reading task/independent reading (30 minutes)

Spellings (20-30 minutes) and get someone to test you on Friday! 

Topic (1hr - 1hr 30 minutes)

We would also ask you to complete at least 20 minutes of daily TT Rockstars

Weekly outdoor learning activity - this could be based around any subject (approx 30 minutes)

Don't forget story time on a Friday. We will have a different member of Year 4 staff sharing a book with you each week 

 

This week, we are also setting you the optional bonus task of reading somebody at home a story! Everyone enjoys a story time, even grown ups.  Make sure you snap us a photograph if you decide to complete it. If you are working with us in school, this may be something you can do when you are at home.
