Here is a quick review of the story:

Marcus is a 12-year old boy who lives in Pompeii with his father. A few years ago, his Mother died in a big volcano eruption ,luckily Marcus and his Father escaped. When himself and his Dad are separated and Mount Vesuvius starts to rumble, Marcus is forced to leave Pompeii, not knowing if his dad is still there looking for him or if he has left too. During his journey, Marcus meets some new friends that were also split up from their family. Will Marcus survive the eruption? Will he find his father?
