Re-cap all of your phase 3 sounds and the phase 5 sounds we have learnt so far (ay, ou, ie, ea and oy.  Ask an adult to point to the sounds on your sound mat in different orders. Don’t let them catch you out!

Today we are learning the alternative grapheme ‘ir’.  We already know the ‘ur’ grapheme.
