Happy New Year Year 4. We hope this week finds you

all safe and well!

We thought we would provide you with a timetable to use as a guide for the next couple of weeks. You do not need to follow it if you choose not to, but it is similar timings to what we use in school  We understand that you may have lots happening at home, so you can complete the work in the order that suits your household best. We also know that children work at different paces, so only complete what you are able to.

 

Each day we have provided you with:

English (40-60 minutes)  

Maths (40-60 minutes)

Handwriting (15 minutes)

Reading (30 minutes)

Spellings (30 minutes) and get someone to test you on Friday! 

Topic (1hr - 1hr 30 minutes)

We would also ask you to complete at least 20 minutes of daily TT Rockstars

 

Don't forget story time on Friday. We will have a different member of staff sharing a book with you each week.

 

This week we are also setting you the optional bonus task of baking something delicious! Make sure you snap us a photograph if you decide to complete it. If you are working with us in school, this may be something you can do when you are at home.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the PE specialist being timetabled to do PE in school on Monday and Tuesday, that the Topic lessons are covered on different days to home learning. Apologies for this inconvenience . Unfortunately, we didn't have this information when completing the timetable. The topics covered in school are as follows:

Monday - PE and PSHE

Tuesday - PE

Wednesday - Art

Thursday - History

Friday - RE

If you are between home and school then please do the topics that you haven't yet covered yet so that everything is only covered once.
