In The Garden learning journey

The term will start with children investigating the signs of Spring in our local environment comparing and describing the changes in the season. We will plant bulbs, seeds and start growing our very own vegetable garden learning about what makes plants grow. We will then learn to retell the story of the Hungry Caterpillar, watch real life caterpillars metamorphosise into butterflies and release them into the wild. We will learn about different minibeasts and go on a minibeast hunt in 6-acre wood. The we will see where our learning journey takes us next...
