1066

 

This term we will be focussing on life in the 11th century and the events of 1066. We will look at the reasons why the Battle of Hastings occurred as well the outcomes and the impact on England. We will also look at the creation of the Domesday Book and produce a decorated class book through our art work. 

 

In English, we will practise recount and perspective writing in reference to our topic work. We will read "I was there....1066" to understand what life was like for an English soldier in 1066.
