Meet the Year 1 Team

Elm Class

Teachers: Mrs Mulholland (4 days) and Mrs Balestrini (1 day) 

TA: Mrs Chapman.

Pine Class

Teachers: Mrs Barrett (4 days) and Mrs Balestrini (1 days)

TA: Mrs Marrs. 

Term 1:

 Pine and Elm class will have PE on a Monday morning. Please can we ask that your child's earrings are removed or covered before coming into school.

PE kits can stay in school and will be sent home when needed or at the end of term.
 

We do not have forest school this term.

Your child will bring their Little Wandle phonic book after we have completed the 3 focussed sessions in class. You will keep the book until the following Wednesday. We use these books in class 3 days a week and bring home to showcase what we can do! An additional shared book will go home during the week as well, which can be non-banded and a book for you to share and enjoy. Feel free to add home reads on BoomRead if you do additional reads. 

Please ensure you update and complete the book on BoomRead to ensure your child's book gets changed. If it is not updated, we will not know to change the book.
