Head teacher daily update
Fri 27 Mar 2020Good afternoon all,
I hope you are all still safe and well and enjoying time with family away from school. We are all still thinking of you here and the daily updates are keeping us smiling. I have heard from a year 2 child today asking why all children do not have comfy chairs. I cleverly passed that one onto Mrs Aldham-Breary with some fab suggestions about incredibly comfortable chairs. They do not call me the queen of delegation for nothing!
So onto the animals in my life - they are finally getting the idea that social distancing is the way forward, please see Max below. Mollie felt a bit camera shy today, she said she wasn't looking her best as the trip to the grooming parlour was not deemed as essential travel. I have a feeling she knows the bath is the next resort so is keeping a low profile. I will let you know how that goes.
I hope you have a great weekend and I will be back in touch on Monday.
Please stay safe and keep well.
Kind regards
Monique Harlin

Head teacher daily update
Thu 26 Mar 2020Good Afternoon everyone,
It has been great to catch up with families that we have not heard from over the past couple of days. Thank you for letting us know how well you and your families are coping during these unusual times. I have heard today that children are helping out with household chores, doing plenty of exercise and helping out families in their neighbourhood that are not as well off as they are. It has been really heartening to hear stories like children leaving food for homeless people and waving at old people while they are out for their daily walk.
I have been keeping an eye out for interesting social distancing measures, please see below.
My sister sent me some pictures of how her animals are getting on with the social distancing in Turkey.
Stay safe and well,
kind regards

Head teacher daily update
Wed 25 Mar 2020Dear All,
What a great day we have had today, the children have found new and interesting variations on traditional games to play on the playground, due to the social distancing measures in place. I watched a game of hide and shout, splat (instead of catch) and duck, duck, shout. Our children have such great imaginations and still had an absolute ball!
I have a feeling that my cats are not getting the whole social distance thing so I have had to put strict measures in place for Max and Mollie - please see below. Also please watch out for those tricky cats that will do anything for a cuddle.
I hope that those of you we have not spoken to recently are doing okay, please email us if you need support with anything and we will try our best to help.
Stay safe and well, kind regards
Monique Harlin

Tue 24 Mar 2020Good morning everyone,
I hope you are all safe and well during this time of uncertainty. Thank you for taking the time to send all of your messages of support to our staff team at this time. We hope things at home are going well for you and need to take our hats off to parents who are having to manage learning as well as normal family business. I am sure your children are helping out as much as possible and doing as much as they can to help. Please feel free to let us know if your children have amazed you in any way so we can share and celebrate the things that make us smile.
Stay safe and keep well
Kind regards
