This term we will be taking our spellings from the Statutory Year 5 and 6 spelling list, which you will find below. Every Friday we will test the children on 20 random spellings from the list.

It would be beneficial for the children to approach the list in the first instance by picking those spellings that they know they find tricky and concentrate on 10 - 20 words that week.

Children can use the 'Look, cover, write' method to practice them and any support you could give with helping them with this would be much appreciated.
